It’s hard to put into words what this foundation means to me. It’s more than a project, more than an organization—it’s a piece of my heart, and a reflection of the little girl who forever changed our lives.

Grief doesn’t knock before it enters — it walks in and changes everything. When you’re walking through the loss of a child while raising others, that grief takes on new shapes, new sounds, and sometimes, silence.

Grief is an uncharted journey, one that no parent ever expects to take. The loss of a child leaves a void so deep that words can hardly capture its weight. For our family, the passing of our daughter, Caislee Rylin, was the moment that forever changed us. It was in the midst of that pain, however, that something beautiful began to take shape—a mission rooted in love, hope, and the desire to support families walking a similar path.

Some days, the weight of motherhood is overwhelming. The never-ending to-do lists, the constant needs, the emotions running high, the exhaustion that settles deep into my bones—it can feel like too much.

There is a certain kind of silence that comes after loss. A silence that is deafening and heavy, yet somehow, the world keeps moving around us as if nothing has changed. But everything has changed.

To the mother who held her baby for only a moment, to the father who longed for a lifetime of memories, to the families whose arms feel emptier than they should—this is for you.
