Caislee Box

About...

The Caislee Box was born from one of the hardest moments of our lives—the day we left the hospital without our daughter. When Caislee was stillborn, we were given a simple shoebox to carry home the few keepsakes we had—her tiny footprints, a hospital bracelet, and the memories we had to make in the short time we shared. That box, though it held everything tangible we had left of her, felt painfully inadequate. It was a heartbreaking reminder that instead of holding our daughter in our arms, we carried only a box.

In the midst of our grief, we knew we wanted something different for families walking this unimaginable path. We wanted to create more than just a box — a sacred, beautiful, intentional space to hold the precious keepsakes of a baby gone too soon.

The Caislee Box is thoughtfully prepared with care and includes a standard ribbon as a simple, gentle touch. Inside, you’ll find meaningful keepsakes and comfort items that families might not think to gather in those darkest moments—like materials for handprints and footprints, a soft swaddle, a comforting stuffed animal, scripture cards, and helpful resources to support healing. Every item is selected with compassion to hold space for your grief and honor your baby’s memory.

This box is more than a place to store memories—it is a symbol of love, remembrance, and the truth that your baby’s life, no matter how brief, is deeply cherished. It is our way of wrapping you in comfort, holding space for your pain, and ensuring that when you leave the hospital, you carry more than just a box—you carry love, honor, and support from those who understand.

Bringing the Caislee Box to Families in Their Darkest Moments

No family should have to leave the hospital or funeral home with nothing but a cold, impersonal box to hold the only physical memories of their baby. We believe that in the midst of unimaginable loss, families deserve something beautiful—something created with love, care, and understanding.

That is why we are working tirelessly, alongside our generous donors and supporters, to make the Caislee Box available in hospitals and funeral homes everywhere.

Through donations, sponsorships, and the kindness of those who believe in our mission, we strive to ensure no family has to ask for something better—it will already be there, waiting for them when they need it most.

For families facing this heartbreak in hospitals that do not yet offer the Caislee Box, we want you to know you are not forgotten. We are committed to making these boxes available for individual requests, so no family has to navigate this pain without support and care.

This mission is deeply personal to us. We know what it feels like to walk out of a hospital empty-handed, and we are determined to change that experience for others. Every donation, sponsorship, and shared story helps us reach more families—helping them feel seen, supported, and reminded that even in their darkest moments, they are not alone.

Request a Caislee Box
