Our hope is that the Caislee Comfort Kit reminds bereaved families that they are not alone in their grief. Each kit is created with love to offer a small measure of comfort, a reminder that their baby’s life matters, and encouragement for the difficult days ahead. We hope these thoughtful items help families feel seen, supported, and surrounded by compassion as they navigate life after loss, honoring their baby’s memory every step of the way.

The Caislee Comfort Kit is our way of putting something gentle into the hands of a family in the very first days after losing a baby.
When we lost Caislee, we remember how quiet and heavy those first days felt, and how much it mattered when someone showed up with care and did not look away. This Kit is named for her, and it exists so no family has to feel forgotten in that moment.
What is in a Comfort Kit:
Each Kit includes: -
1. lovey
2. swaddle or blanket
3. letter
4. hand/foot print ink keepsake
5. special resource

Who a Kit is for:
Comfort Kits are for families who have experienced pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or infant loss / parents who lost a baby at any gestation during pregnancy.

How to request a Kit:
1. Fill out the form on our Get Help page and choose Request a Comfort Kit.
2. We will reply within 1-2 business days to confirm your details and timing.
3. We will ship your Kit to you or deliver to your hospital if you are local.
There is no cost to your family for a Kit.
If you are a nurse, chaplain, or hospital team member requesting Kits for families, please email caisleerylinfoundation@gmail.com and tell us about your unit and how many families you serve.

How your $44 helps:
One Comfort Kit costs $44 to put together and send. A $44 donation covers one Kit plus shipping. If you would like to give, you can donate a Kit in the Shop or on our Donate page, and you can add a personal note for the family who receives it.
